Or maybe because they're trying to make sure there are no funds to pass onto the next corporation because (in their minds) that money belongs to them. Funds given by friends, families and supporters of the girls and the program, earned through donations, ad sales, ticket sales, badge sales, license and insurance fees from locals-none of which has anything to do with AS & GS. Funds they're trying to drain so the girls and the program are left with nothing. She was always so kind and she is honestly one of the most intelligent, talented, and hardworking individuals I've ever met. I was glad she beat me, because she deserved it. She's been on Broadway and won a 20,000 dollar scholarship for her platform work. And you know what? I'm certain that this was the year Grace dreamed of. I know when I talked to her Mom at the Reception they were done with this organization and were happy to be gone and disappointed that other states have great leadership and provide wonderful experiences for their titleholders. I hope this State gets its act together because this experience shouldn't be like this for titleholders.
