Actually, telling the truth about someone of questionable character doesn't say anything about my character. It's a nice thought for those who want to justify their choices, but no. It's not a "feeling" that Crystal manipulated the truth about her education, nor that she did the same about her platform. It's not a "feeling" that she didn't place in the top 10 last year, nor did she win a single prelim this year. Those are all facts. The point is that understanding why it happened is imperative to making sure it doesn't happen again as we're rebuilding the program. I personally care about the quality and character of the girls we send to MA. If you don't, that says more about you than it does about me. -- ILLINOIS Pageants Board
