Which Comedy Series from Hal Roach Studios do you considered the best and the worst?

Well, I'm personally not a fan of any of them. I don't particularly watch or enjoy these films. For me it's just a project I wish I had never started and can't wait to end, but seeing as you asked...

In terms of quality and consistency I'd have to say Laurel and Hardy was probably the best Hal Roach-produced series. I know that sounds like a cop-out and a convenient answer - but I say that not as a "fan" of Laurel and Hardy, but as an observer and analyst of these films. Charley Chase would probably come in second place with the Todd/Kelly films in 3rd.

As for the worst, well personally I can't stand most of the other films - particularly Harold Lloyd. But the absolute worst, most pointless pile of utter shit would have to be the Dippy Doo Dads, followed closely by Will Rogers, Harry Langdon and Irvin S. Cobb.
