I noticed there was a difference in the spelling with the christian name:

Merrill (with an "i") and Merrell (with an "e").

Oh and PS. "African American"? I do wish people would stop using that expression. BLACK is the word you're looking for. You will notice on my website I always use that word. All this "African American" bollocks....

I checked both the Maltin/Bann book, and Bob Demoss' site and both say "MERRILL". With regards to the dates I have on my site for this kid, please advise on how I should proceed. Thanks.
