Subject: Yeah, Juli strikes me as a girl doing pageants just to have fun. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, there are many reasons to compete, but I'm guessing she'll only win if there's no one more serious than her competing. Given she's in grad school, the judges have picked up there's a disconnect between her age and her presentation. I'm wondering if she's ever consulted a coach (that knows the Ohio MAO program). I think all it would take is some experienced guidance and quick tweaks (like you said, costuming) & she could win a local.
