Subject: Because Children’s Miracle Network received charitable donations last year nobody should attempt to fundraise for the cause this year? It is about dollars raised for a great charity not about if they incur any costs. And even if it is not CMN moving forward, hopefully there will continue to be a charitable component with a charity that is of equal importance. No need to add new locals, the State Board could hold a Sweeps as they have in the past. No new local director needed in this case. How about, BLESSED to remain a titleholder for an additional year to promote their charitable platform and make a difference in the world, which is especially needed now. If keeping a title for an additional year takes emotional energy, how could one then handle the job of Miss Ohio? It is non-stop for an entire year. The word “newbies” is very offensive in particular when paired with the word fresh. Just because you tend to see many of the same girls year after year, doesn’t mean you need to deter new contestants who are interested, but have yet to compete. Lift them up and encourage them to try something new. Isn’t the whole point of the system for females to support and empower other females?
