Aah thanks for the tip about the FD: I wish I'd known that beforehand, would've saved about five hours :| Still, at least I got the thing back together again. Now I know I can get back at the FD more easily, I'll take another look at it.

Another question, there seemed to be a lead coming out of the video board attached to the CRT (black and white cable with a 2 pin pink(ish) female connector on the end) that doesn't seem to go anywhere: when I opened the case, it just seemed to be resting against the metal shielding on the analog board. Any idea what this is, and should it be loose like this?
