Growing up here in the South, I found myself on more than one occasion being taken to the ladies room for a spanking when I had misbehaved in public to get my bare little butt spanked. I've talked about a couple of those occasions in here.

This isn't one of them. This was one I recently witnessed, and wanted to share it. I know it might be off topic for this forum, but I'm asking for folks to bear with me on this occasion. This is kinda special to me. Read on and you'll see why.

I was out shopping a couple of weeks ago, picking up some of the stuff my kids need for school and was at the nearest Walmart (fun fun). While I was shopping I had to stop and pee, so I went to the Ladies Room. While I was taking care of my business I heard a commotion and when I came out of the stall, I saw a young woman who looked to be in her early twenties, standing by the sinks with her little girl. She had pulled her pants and panties down and was spanking her bare little bottom by hand as she scolded her. I wasn't going to say anything, I minded my own business, just walked over to the sink to wash my hands and leave, but the woman saw me and was startled. She stopped spanking her little girl and quickly pulled her panties back up. She seemed pretty shaken and stammered, "I'm sorry, I didn't know anybody was in here I uh... I smiled and said, "It's ok Sweetie. She was looking really shaken, and looked like she could use a hug, so I hugged her. Then I said, "I guess someone's being a little naughty today huh?" She gave me a nervous smile and said, "You can say that again." I told her, "Don't worry honey, it's gonna happen. It's all good." She looked like she really could use someone to talk to and this Walmart is one of the few that still has one of the McDonald's Cafe's in it, so I offered to treat her and her little girl to a drink. At first, she tried to decline, but I insisted. So, She accepted and we went to the cafe' I ordered coffees for us and a milkshake for her daughter. While we were sitting there talking, I found out her name is Kayla and she's nearly twenty-four, her little girl's name is Jasmine and she is five. Also her husband, who's name happens to be Mark (same as my husband), is military and is stationed in the Middle East so she's having to raise their daughter by herself. To make things worse, she had gotten pregnant at eighteen and even though, she and Mark got married, her family disapproved because he's black (yeah racism is still a thing here in the South). So she has no family support at all and with him overseas, things get pretty overwhelming for her. We chatted for the longest time and I treated them to lunch. I chatted with her little girl too and was honestly falling in love with her. She has beautiful thick curly blonde hair, the prettiest light blue eyes, I've ever seen and a beautiful "coffee and cream" complexion. She is an absolute doll. Before we finished I put my arms around Kayla and told her, "You may not've had any family here before, but as far as I'm concerned, you do now. She thanked me and hugged me tight. Then we exchanged phone numbers. I told her, "Baby, if you need anything, whether it's to talk or if you need sitter when you need to take care of things, or if you just need to have a little time to yourself, just give me a call anytime honey, please. She started to tear up and hugged and thanked me. When we got up to leave, I picked up Jazzy (the little girl's nickname) gave her a big hug, kissed her cheek and said, "You be a good girl for your Momma, ok Baby Girl." She wrapped her arms around my neck, kissed my cheek and said, "Ok Auntie Sonya". When she said that, My heart absolutely melted.

While the kids were in school last week, Kayla and I went out for lunch a couple of times and hung out for a while. She's calling me Auntie Sonya now too and I'm perfectly fine with that. We had a cookout after church last Sunday and invited them to join us. We all had a good time. Momma and Daddy came over to join us and they loved Kayla and Jazzy too.

Kayla doesn't get the chance to talk to her Mark very often since he's on deployment, but she told him about us and he seems grateful that now she has someone looking out for her and the baby and is looking forward to meeting us. We're looking forward to meeting him too.
