Both my parents spanked me on my bare bottom with a hand until I was 13, when my mom decided she needed to “up the ante” ( the actual phrase she used; to this day I cringe when I hear it used). Then She showed me an oval oak hairbrush she purchased specifically for this purpose.
A week or so later I got my first spanking with it. She started out as usual, warming my bottom with her hand, but after perhaps a dozen swats, she paused and picked up the brush. Then she gave me two rapid swats, one in each cheek , before pausing to gauge my reaction. I had been pretty quiet up to this point but that changed immediately. I howled loudly, squirming and bucking so much that before continuing my mom used the pause to grab both my wrists and hold them against my back with her free hand. Then she continued with a slow but steady spanking, alternating each cheek. By the time she finished, I was bawling so hard I was having a hard time catching my breath. When she finished, she stood me up and told me to stand in the corner facing the wall with my hands in my head until I composed myself and then we would have a chat.
