Final in Bucknell 21...Rams 20. Two trips into the red zone in 4th Q and we came up empty. After B went up 21 to 20, Rams drove it to the visitor 10 and Hunte fumbled. Later, Rams took it to Bison 18 and a Clukey FG was no good. Apparently there was a low snap which contributed to miss. All in all a fine effort by the guys against a tough opponent on the road. There is still the possibility of a winning season so let's not abandon the guys now. Go Rams

I'm on the record for 5-6 this season, but yesterday's effort (despite 2 missed FGs, a redzone fumble, dropped passes at key times) was very solid. I know the seniors want to beat Lehigh and I know they'll be up for the game. There is no dominant PL team this year, I see parity and 7-4 is realistic if FU plays a complete game. LU clearly most consistent and undefeated in PL, but I think you needed a 14-17 point victory over Colgate in order to be considered dominant. Instead, LU intercepted Colgate in the endzone in the 4Q. BTW, I'm on the record with FU at 5-6 this year, including losses to LU, Colgate, Bucknell and Laf, so I think I'm grounded. Agree the team and coaches have much to be proud of this season. Although my pre-season expectation was 7-4, which now seems unlikely, the team has not let up at any point and I don't expect they will against. The upcoming recruiting season will be critical given major back-to-back graduation losses. Does anyone have an early sense of how the recruiting season is proceeding? This was indeed a tough loss because the game was within our reach. Two questions: Why does Prydatko not get more carries when he is so effective? For the second week in a row the staff pulled him after he had run well and put us in scoring position. Against G'town after two runs failed, P.was put in and we scored; against BU after P. had some great runs, he was pulled for Hunte who fumbled on the next play. Stick with momentum! You have hit on my 2 main questions as well. Dato has a big leg and has reached the end zone only once that I recall but it must be about 5 games now where it is clear the idea is to pop up high angling kicks which don't appear to have accomplished much at all. No big returns, true, but, it always seems to put the ball between about the 28 and 42; don't like it at all. I think Dato and Clukey could consistently put the ball in the end zone if asked.
