It's a sad day now that ACE93 has reached his frustration level with the children who have polluted the basketball board with their petty squabbles. I, for one, am sad to see it go since it was always a great spot for information, both good and bad, about the way Fordham Athletics operates. To Andres, BFG, and the other anonymous moderators there: I salute your efforts. Hopefully you will find an opportunity in the future to resurrect your efforts. To Rob: I hope you can put up with the increased traffic and unfortunately problems here. To Rambacker, Ramfan, GuyF, AFF adherents and other anonymous trolls: next time leave your personal agendas at home. They are counter-productive and have forced a good man to give up something he obviously loved in the service of his alma mater. Now that we're down to one board we don't want to lose this one as well.

The board was greatly appreciated by those who truly love Fordham and Fordham sports, and we're all grateful to ace93 and the other moderators. It's a shame children ruin it for the responsible ones. And BTW, there's a reason there is no "extraneous BS" on the recruiting thread Rambacker started above: he posted information gleaned from his own sources. I have never had a problem with posts like those (there would be no reason to), and have never criticized those types of posts. It's only those where he took content from articles on websites and claimed it as his own that I took issue with. Ace, you guys did a great job with that board. The number of visitors, and the breadth of topics of interest discussed to the Fordham community, attests to that. But you did the right thing. Some people were abusing the anonymity of that board, and were hikacking it for a personal agenda. Rob Smith and you should take a look at the G-Town boards. Maybe that's the way to go. Actually I am quite familiar with copyright law, and there has been no copyright infringement here. I follow Rambacker's posts closely and each time you have accused him of copyright infringement, I have checked rivals.com, scout.com, hoopmasters.com and hoopscoop and it's not even close. We all know that recruiting information is released in many cases to many contacts on the same day, and Rambacker's posts always have much, much more content that the recruiting sites. But the main point is this - you are solely responsible for the shutdown of the basketball board. Your attacks have served as a catalyst for trollers to jump on your posts and pollute the site. Please drop your personal agenda and give Fordham fans a break. Continuing your blather only serves to hurt Fordham fans who rely on Rambacker for important information about our program.
