A few months back I saw an article stirring news about a possible stadium for the J-E-T-S on the westside and relating that development to the revitalization of Ram Football ala-Lombardi, rivalries against NYU and St.Mary's of California, and the Rose Bowl.

Being an out of towny, any news on this front?

I read the article as well. Overall, I don't think there was too much substance to the article but it was still a nice reference to our great past. Regardless, since the article was posted it has become less likely that the Jets will get their Man. stadium as the '12 Olym. seem unlikely to be in NYC. Bloomberg referenced the possibility of a Queens stadium, which the Jets flatly denied they'd accept. However, the Bloomberg admission seems to have crushed the possibility of a West Side stadium for the foreseeable future (as far as I've read). (NT)PA Ram14:18:06 03/05/05 Sat
