Subject: Re: Respectfully disagree...IMO, PL not as hidebound as Ivies with respect to scholarships. Though I don't love the idea of athletic scholarships, no question that they have a positive impact on the quality if student-athlete PL schools can now attract. I can see PL as a limited-scholarship FB conference (such as what St. Mary's and some others have used).
