Subject: I would like to see us in the CAA or 1A (not that this will happen) if that is financially viable. There are Title IX implications to going to athletic scholarship ball. As I understand it, the value of the need based grants given to our fballers do not count and do not have to be offset by similar values given to female athletes. Under the CAA scenario, they do have to be matched. I've also read how FU fball somehow operates at a profit but in reality any "profit " is the result of fund accounting or some other bureaucratic approach.
