Subject: It's a percentage based on 4 digits (1000 being perfect). It measures if a financial aid student-athlete 1)stayed and 2) whether he was eligible. They assign a point for each of these variables over both semesters and then figure the percentage for the entire squad. 925 has been determined by the NCAA as equivalent to a 50% graduation rate if continued for 4 years and, thus, the break point for future scholarship penalties.
