Subject: I do not advocate dropping football if we don't move to full scholarship 1-AA. In fact we are currently "out" of college football for all practical purposes, being in the essentially invisible Patriot League. Unlike you, I, like many others, would like to see Fordham compete in a full scholarship 1-AA football league with our Jesuit brethren, Georgetown and Holy Cross.

In reply to: An Old Coach 's message, "You mean you'd rather drop football than stay in the PL? Kind of throwing the baby out with the water, no? I don't think any decision Fordham makes is tied in any way to Georgetown or HC. I could care less about them." on 09:13:30 12/21/04 Tue

Re: Respectfully, I believe that overstates it a bit, Rambacker; and Fordham's athletic administration has not helped itself by scheduling OOC opponents that, on their best days, could not beat Delbarton, Don Bosco or Bergen Catholic. (NT)Go...'gate19:22:33 12/21/04 Tue

I'd like to see peace in the middle east as well. There are somethings that we have no control over, such as the money that HC and georgetown spend on football. I'm sure coach foley or some of the players would like your insight into the quality of football. Perhaps at the start of practice in August you should go down to the field and tell them that their level of football esentially leaves them "out " of college ball. I want to be there so let me know.
