Subject: Leading with a recreation center as phase 1 isn't a good idea. Leading with a new Campus Center(already a given) coupled with a convocations center with complementary multiple functions serving students/alums/faculty is sound strategy. A well-conceived convocations center serving the entire university is a logical next step for Fordham after a Science Center is planned. By the way, I'm glad you've embraced my original premise from 2 years ago that an integrated capital project including a new Campus Center, Convocations Center, Recreation Complex & Football Stadium is the way to go.
