Rich, we are making great progress on raising money and facilities. The amount of $$ raised is great, but it is from a narrow group of folks. When I heard how many people donated above $100 I was shocked. I better understand now what you mean by "alumni penetration". And I thought it was something you guys in Philadelphia say. Yes, we definitely should try to attract donors of any amounts, get more fans back to the campus and into the stands and add to the number of supporters of football at Fordham. The Bill Walshes and other generous souls got us going in the right direction but we must sustain, then expand, upon it ourselves. WE CANNOT BE COMPLACENT AND SLIDE BACK (NT) R. Amen! We cannot accomplish our aims without more help, especially from the younger alumni. The Golf outing , annual dinner (April 29); Reunion Weekend (next year, the teams of the 1980s to be featured) , season ticket sales, fund raising, career help for undergrads and seniors, tailgating, new projects (such as a golf outing for younger alumni and outings wiht regional alumni clubs) are among our needs (NT) -- R.
