Gents, What have you noticed, in general, about how people treat you as you’ve aged? For instance, family and friends are more likely to inquire about my health. Doctors caution about falling and possibly breaking my hip. I come home from a routine VA follow up appointment and my “kids” (one just retired) give me the big-eye, like, well—how many days do you have left? And even gangbangers call me Sir and hold the door open for me at stores.

I feel,great. I’m not the old guy in the mirror. Well, I am, but I go where I want to, do mostly what I want to. And I’ll be around until I’m not—just like everyone else. Don Poss
