Subject: Larry Poss in LV VA hospital

Gents,

I just got a call from Ann who said that Larry Poss has been admitted to the Las Vegas, NV VA. He had an appointment at the VA this AM, and instead of taking the elevator due to construction, he took the stairs and fell. He dislocated a shoulder and is in a great deal of pain, although it has been reset. He also may have damaged his pacemaker as his heart rate is "all of the place". He also has an any aneurysm in the left carotid artery which the doctors are looking at and deciding action or surgery to be determined. So far, Larry has had a CAT scan and about to do another with dye. Fortunately, when he fell there were two other veterans on the stairs who quickly summoned help.
No visitors or phone calls allowed. I will post updates as I hear from Ann, which may be in the morning. And yes, prayers are appreciated. Don Poss
