Subject: TIME MARCHES ON READY OR NOT

They say that time marches on ready or not
Time will continue it's journey regardless
It takes no notice of what mankind may want

We wish we could have more time during events
Trying to take care of our personal problems
A debt we owe or finding a cure for an illness

Sometimes it's mother nature's fury striking
Say a tornado or hurricane that will not wait
For us to quickly gather up our possessions

Maybe it was in war that time would not wait
As you ran for the bunkers to avoid rockets
Or to a defensive position not quite finished

We always seem to want time to change for us
For it to go faster while waiting for something
Or to slow down when we want to avoid something

Regardless of any ones wishes, hopes or dreams
Time is blind and deaf to any of our own wishes
As they have said Time Marches On Ready Or Not

The length of our time that we live here on the earth is
unknown to anybody else but God, we will all eventually
some day die at the prescribed time or place known only
to God, not by the Mayan calendar or some false profit's
predictions. Yet it seems that everyone wants at some
point in their lives to alter the speed of time to fit
their own special situations or their own special needs,
nobody here on our earth can change time in any way,
shape or form. I think that instead of us all wanting
to change time to fit our own needs that we should try
using whatever time we've left here on Earth to learn
what we can and to then use those lessons to help out
our fellow human beings we can instead of wasting
all of our own precious time that we have left here on
Earth by being so self-centered or just trying to look
out for only our own needs and our own desires in life.
I truly believe and think that in the very end we will
all be judged by how well we had used our time here on
Earth to help others or causes bigger than ourselves,
time will still march on ready or not without any bias
or regards for or against any of our own desires or our
own wishes in life.
