Thanks for your reply. We continued on out to the perimeter that day. Several of us went the infirmary the next morning when we were relived. I suffered a back injury and it was noted in my medical records, however, when I retired in 1982 my records were sent to storage. My records were lost or burned up in a fire at the facility. I am in a battle with the VA regarding my injury and they have denied me compensation because I have no way of proving my claim.
