Subject: SC Disability Appeal Results

FYI - Contact Your Representatives.
I had an appeal in for over 3-years for 1) Heading loss; 2) Neuropathy of my hands and; 3) PTSD. After sending a letter to my House Representative for assistance on finding out why my claim has taken so long. His staff responded to me within 1-week. A week later, they sent me a letter stating that the VA said my claim was in process.

Well, I took that as a 'boilerplate' response and dismissed their help. However, a month later, I received a call from the VA telling me I needed to go to three C&Ps, one for each of my appeals. I attended each C&P, which actually went very good.

One month later, I received a letter from the VA stating that my my Neuropathy of my hands and my PTSD claim was approved dating back to 2015. As a result of the help from my House Representative, I am now 80% rated. A Super Christmas gift for me.

My propose of this note is that you should not give-up and if necessary, contact you Congressional Representatives for help.
