Subject: Message about Mom Lehman

I received the following Message from Erlyce about Mom Lehman:
Hi everyone,

Just a note to let you know that Mom Lehman is currently in Banner Boswell Hospital in Sun City, AZ. She has pneumonia but as of today she seems to be improving and may be released soon. Her son, Shayne, was notified about a week ago by a caregiver in Tucson that Mom wasn't feeling well. Of course, he stayed on touch with her and when it was clear that she wasn't getting better, he went to Tucson and brought her back to Phoenix and his home. When her condition didn't improve, the doctors hospitalized her.

Along with others, I was able to spend several hours with her while Shayne and Syndi visited several assisted living or group homes. This latest illness has really solidified the reality that Mom cannot live alone any more. She's not happy about moving, but I think she is resigned to it and trying to make the best of her situation. She knows Shayne is trying to make things safe and easier for her.

As soon as the hospital can release her and all necessary tests and paperwork can be completed, she can move in there. She's become very weak and cannot walk unaided. I don't have the address yet or the name of the place, but I will let you know when I do. Shayne has closed her Tucson address but is having all of mom's mail sent to him. His address is; she will not be returning to her home in Tucson.

Mom still has the same phone number and it is 520-591-2912. She is now well enough to take phone calls and I know she would welcome them.
