I haven't heard that there is no longer 100% permanent disability. You can still put in for Unemployability Total & Permanent. However, the Congressional Budget Office Committee continues to recommend to Congress that this benefit should end because those that are receiving UE are also receiving Social Security (which by the way - it's an entitlement, not a benefit). Every time they try to do this, it never passes the House. However, if it does, it will only affect new claims.
