FYI - For my Thailand brothers: Here's a piece of information addressing AO in Thailand. Hope this is helpful to some of you.
This information was found on the FaceBook Thailand Veterans Herbicide Exposure.

Agent Orange on Thailand Base Perimeter Fence, Base by Base.

Dear Ms. Miles, Your question is very broad-based.  Attached are my notes, base by base, on when herbicides were used.  Unfortunately, the specific names or chemical components were not discussed in the unit histories, only that 'herbicides' were approved/procured.  Sometimes they used contaminated diesel fuel....

Here are the dates and places for herbicide use in Thailand on USAF installations:

Although the tactical herbicide Agent Orange was never used at any USAF installation in Thailand for vegetation control, non-tactical, commonly referred to as 'commercial-grade,' herbicides were used at some USAF installations at specific times.  Here is the list of commercial herbicide use at USAF base perimeters in Thailand, and the dates of their use:
Korat    Apr-Dec 1972 and Oct-Dec 1973
Nakhon Phanom   Jul-Aug 1971
Takhli     Apr-Sep 1969 (mostly around the ammo dump, perimeter towers and the ends of runways)
Ubon   22 Jun 1970 for a period of about four weeks, then again in Jan 1971
U-Tapao    Oct 1971-Mar 1972 and Jul-Sep 1972

Thailand USAF bases that have no record of ever using any herbicides for vegetation control:
Udorn Don Muang Ko Kha Air Station Mukdahan Air Station Chiang Mai Air Station Warin Air Station Roi-Et Air Station

Sincerely,
Barry L. Spink Archivist Air Force Historical Research Agency
