Subject: Update on Newell Swartz

I talked with Maria this morning and the report on Newell is better today. He continues to fight and he appears to be gaining strength. She said he was aware of two DPS officers, friends of his came to visit and Newell was very happy to see them. It seems this will be a long fight to regain his strength; however, she reported he is making progress. He does have an infection that the Doctors are working to overcoming it. She appreciates all the thoughts and prayers for Newell. Let’s keep lifting them up in our prayers.
