Subject: MY 68TH BIRTHDAY

Tomorrow I will turn 68 years old, back at Binh-Thuy AB I'd become convinced I'd never live long enough to see my 21st birthday on July 31, 1969 especially after the two vicious attacks of Jan. 10th 1969. Yet here it is 47 years later & as I look in the mirror this morning, I see this old man's face now staring back at me and I know if it hadn't been for my brothers at Binh-Thuy AB 68-69 and their great courage & bravery that this old man wouldn't be staring back at me & that him & I wouldn't be celebrating my 68th birthday tomorrow.
