Subject: Yep but US as a country can afford to choose once a Miss USA that does not fufill the requirements of MU or MW. Does somebody remember how many times did USA win an international title?!!! But considering our short history in these contests, the political or whatever other factors, we should choose Miss Egypt who can as much as possible fit and meet the needs. No valid comparison here between Egypt and US. Thanks

Dan you don't make snese. The U.s has placed and has had a better history in all world pagents than us. The girl is beauitufl and she emets all the requiremnts she is only 167 c.m So If Salma or Sara or Christine would of won it would of been no problem at all and in fact I think they would of done a great job not like people always mentioned height as a problem
Thank yOU!

[> [> Subject: Because the States have a better and longer history in these contests, they can make a mistake for once with no big harm, but we should not take their mistake and consider it a model. Height factor is not "MY" standard of beauty. Tall height has always been considered a sign of beauty all over the world. If we choose Miss Egypt to be happy with her in our own country, fine, we can choose anyone, but if we want her to represent Egypt in an international contest AND to have a serious chance of gaining an attention (not saying winning) we have to adhere to the international standards of beauty.
