if you are referring to the Gretsch Brian played in 1963-64(?) It was loaned to him by a Liverpool Musician Named Johnny Franklind who plays in a band called King Size Taylor and the Dominos, I found this out in 2005 when I met him on my first day in liverpool in a small bar on Matthew street called the Grapes.. I mentioned Brian to him and he told me he loaned it to Brian for 8 weeks..There is another Brian Jones in Liverpool Who Played Saxophone in a band called The Undertakers, They are good friends with me and my sister and we intend to visit Liverpool this summer. I hope this is useful info.
