In reply to: Bernard McDermott 's message, "This is one place where we can be as crazy about Brian as we want" on 07:14:28 11/30/11 Wed

keith in A rolling Stone Interview in 1971 said Brian "Took the cheap trip" Who could be cheaper than Mick? When that disaster Dirty Work came out I as working the worst day job and gigging in a tiny club in NY. Him and his X-pensive winos and the 2 of them and their Terrible Lyrics and all these new reissues and films. When I got a ticket to see them at the Capitol Theatre in New Jersey in 1978 through a friend who worked there some young kid on the bus to New Jersey was chanting "Who Killed Brian Jones? Must have been The Rolling Stones!"I actually was going to give him my ticket and I'm sorry I didnt. Imagine a line like Booze And Pills And Powders, you get to choose your medicine..When I gave up alcohol and drugs in 1993, This made me sick. Then in 1994 everybody started calling me Mick..It got so bad I went to visit some relatives in England and It happened there. even my current Therapist compares me to Mick. so Long Live Brian Jones. I dont think in his worst nightmares he thought The Rolling Stones would turn out to be what they were and are. Enough said. Im glad I posted Rock and roll is my religion and brian is my patron saint..You cant get any higher than to call him God, Who i am sure had mercy on his soul. Im just glad I have enough of my own Music so I dont have to play stones covers When people start doing that to me I just say Im Better than Them and they leave me alone.I am not cheap or some loser or jerk.
