Blimey, what an amazing story. I kinda knew asthma was a serious condition and could be life threatening, but with advances in medicine, my perception of how dangerous illness is, is very much diminished.

I guess when I find Jim, we will be cracking open an extra bottle of the finest malt to celebrate your good health.

It is really so interesting that some folk seem to be able to grow out of asthma. In Brian Jones' case, there were so many people who said they knew he was asthmatic but never actually saw him use his puffer. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the medicine in those puffers was dangerous, so you can be doubly thankful that you managed to shoo the asthma away.
