Subject: Scapegoat Frank
In reply to: Ovalvox 's message, "Re: Anna Wohlin article from July 2013" on 19:42:43 01/16/14 Thu

" I always believed Frank was a scapegoat."

I agree. I remember in the not so distant past, it was either Frank's daughter or niece who posted in reply to some online articles (Daily Mail online) or blogs (Sam Cutler's I believe) regarding Brian's death. She knew a lot more (or so she claimed) in regards to the goings-on at Cotchford Farm in the last days of Brian's life.
Thanks to the books released in the 90's and Tom Keylock's fabricated death bed confession by Frank, the general consensus now is that Frank was Brian's killer and unless something changes, that will be the perception.
If Frank indeed wasn't responsible for Brian's death, I wonder why someone in Frank's family doesn't come forward to clear his name? Having a family member being tagged as a killer for all eternity is a hell of a burden to bear, especially if he was innocent, and a couple blurbs in comment sections of online articles hardly sets the record straight or puts the blame on the real guilty party/parties. Now we are in the internet age, this would be the perfect platform for the Thorogood family to try and clear Frank's name. If it were someone in my family who was wrongly accused and vilified worldwide, I would take full advantage of the internet to clear their name.
