Mr. "Oldspice"--with all due respect, I'm having a hard time believing you ever met Brian Jones, much less were personal freinds with him.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and you have provided none, except your claim that Brian gave you a lift from a rainy bus stop into London. A bus stop where? I thought you lived near Brian in London. Do you have any personal photos of Brian? Letters? Is there anyone else who could corroborate your story?

You also tease this board by saying you know certain confidential facts, which you would never disclose. Why then even say such things? If you really do know important and even embarrasing details you should share them, at least for the sake of Brian's historical legacy, which is passing away, never to be recorded. Most of Brian's intimate friends have already died. In a few years there won't be anyone left to tell the story. Be a good sport then, and tell the world what you know. For better or worse. No one could criticise you for telling the truth. That is, if you really know it at all.
