We have gotten crucial information from subversives about terrorists and other enemies. That's a fact. What's scary is that our government now wants the CIA to be all nicey nicey. Like anyone else is going to be?
I just watch "24' for th fun of it. It has gotten pretty goofy. And Palmer was indeed the best president. Too bad he wasn't real!
Plus thy've got a subplot this yer invovling a couple of new characters and it's really pointless.

CW, there WAS an episode of Gilligan's Island with a Japanese soldier. He had been stranded there for years and didn't know WWII was over. And yeah, the one with the Russian cosmonauts one too. I always thought it strange how everyone else could easily come to and get off the island but not those 7 castaways! lol

I'll record the first ep of The Pacific and check it out. I've seen a bunch of WWII stuff in the past. I caught a number of parts of the PBS series, "The War" a year or so ago. These long minie series are just so daunting to get through. At least it's only playing new episodes once a week so my DVR won't get filled up too fast.

I'll give it a try. The message of it seems to be that we should watch so we know what our young men went through and sacrificed. I already know that and am not sure what else new I can learn but maybe I will.

As for Lost, it's still driving me crazy!
