Okay I'm not sure that we learned all that much except that it was Hurley's polar bear comic book, not Walt's.
Who the heck are those guys who took Walt?! Are they "the others" from the island or totally different? They looked like rejects from a Gordon's Fisherman commercial. Very piratelike.

I enjoyed the episode, especially the no dialog scene at the end where everyone was settling in on the plane before takeoffand exchanging glances.

Is the French lady just plain nuts or is there something to this black smoke that seems to be able to travel wherever it wants? WHy doesn't Locke tell Jack that he was in a wheelchair before coming to the island so that's why he knows there's something very special about it.? I guess he's afraid to say it out loud. I knew poor Artz was done for. You don't just introduce one of the red shirt characters with him suddenly take a major role and not have him end up dead.

Where did Rose disappear to?

This was an exciting one while the previous week's had be crying. Especially the scene with Vincent swimming after Walt. That about broke my heart!
And I'm glad Sun and Jin made up. I like Sawyer's nicknames for Jin but this last one where he referred to Michael and Jin as Han and Chewie was the best. :-)

Hurley defintely seems to be the catalyst for a lot of what has gone on. If he hadn't made that flight would any of it have happened?

Charlie Charlie Charlie. You were doing so well. Don't go back on the stuff now!

My guess on the hatch....It's filled with twinkies! ;)
