Hey, I actually got to watch this!! My hubby and kids seem to think I can't hurt it at this point. Now I can have theories and everything!!
Here are some:
The French Lady: I think having your baby stolen and then living all alone on an island for 16 years would make you nuts, no matter how well-adjusted you might have been with to start out.
Who is Rose?? (I thought I'd figured out most of the major characters, but I must have missed her.)
Charlie: Maybe he just wanted a nice statue of the Madonna to decorate his cave?? Also, given the flashbacks showing his pre-island lifestyle of "sex, drugs and rock'n roll". . .what are the chances that he's the *actual* father of the baby he's taking a father-like interest in?
As everybody here knows, I always liked to pair of characters, but I gotta say. . .judging by the scene near the end, these folks seem to be doing just fine on their own.
