IT's a very good play. The title line, to the best of my understanding, is supposed to be some joke among the college professors.

I've just had that Woolf joke running through my head for years. I mean, she killed herself, her first name is Virginia, one of the most popular bits of Americana is the "Yes Virginia," letter - it practically writes itself. IS it wrong to crack wise about feminist authors who commit suicide? I ask you, is it so wrong?
