Since next week, SNL is showing their "...goes commercial" special instead of a rerun, I talked to Patrick, and he agreed that we should do a "commercial special".
It just seemed to be the right time, after 4 & 1/2 years of the site, we've never had a "commercial" special.
Here is what you do...Go back, and find some of your favorite commercial parodies from the span of SNY.
Create the list and then email the list to Patrick ( patricklonergan@hotmail.com )
Patrick will create the special over Thursday, Friday & Saturday and have it up by the weekend.
Now - Get to it!

The cold opening and monologue are both currently up for grabs, in case anyone is working on ideas. A Zorro parody has already been sent in, so the sky's the limit beyond that. Hope to start WU submissions pouring in by Thursday evening, looks like a good week for things in the news to make fun of.

For those who don't know, Charles Rocket has commited suicide. Many websites have now confirmed it.
He was found dead in a field, with his throat slit, on October 7th.

Sorry, everyone. I'm going to get the Carell season premiere episode up and running by Monday evening. The week suddenly turned busy for me, as I began doing some temp work at the library in Lafayette (helping evacuees fill out FEMA forms, answers questions, etc.), and I've been in New Orleans all weekend packing up our apartment to put away in storage. What I thought might tkae a couple of hours has taken all weekend, what with renting a truck, running out of gas on a bridge, having the truck fight for its life once we reached New Orleans, having a new truck sent to us from our original location. Blah blah blah. I haven't watched the premeire yet - my weekend may or may not have been funnier! But I'll get the site updated by Monday evening after work, and some of you will get the chance to hear from me personally over my lunch hour!
