Sorry I've been so slack with reviews. I've been kicking back on my summer break. Well, I have a freee moment now, so here goes:

CO: My work, nothing to say. Move along.

Monologue: Very nice stuff. Mark is going out with one last act from one of his best recurring characters. Some very good banter between the two and some sick sexual comments. A clever little monologue.

Excalibur Escort Services: This was totally hilarious. The interaction between the Spanish man and his whores was priceless, and filled with clever lines and set-ups. The "2 escorts for the price of one" coupon joke was one of the best I've ever read. I did enjoy seeing Marianna treated so poorly, was that a commentary on the type of roles Rachel Dratch plays in excess?

Women's Synchronized Snoring: Another newcomer brings in an incredibly funny skit. The premise was absurd, the jokes wonderful, and the characterizations were hilarious. Welcome to the team, Mr. Brian Dean.

Everybody Loves Finales: I'm not usually one for TV parodies, but this was a good effort on Prateek's part. A few lines that weren't so funny, but overall, still far funnier than an actuall episode of "Raymond".

WU: I was pleased there weren't so many cliched "Bush is stupid/Bush is on drugs" jokes, though the disappointing Bush commentary satisfied that quota. Some very nice jabs and one-liners in this one, my favorites being the Russian lake, Saddam in briefs, Budwiser firing, airline merger, Spokane mayor and daylight saving's time jokes. The Brad Pitt commentary wasn't that funny either, sorry to say. Both Tina and Amy's inner thoughts were too similar and didn't really elict a laugh. Plus, Brad had nothing funny to say, he just wanted to take his shirt off.

"Full House Updated": Let me say that I "loved" the Raymond parody, but that this "Full House" spoof definitely "folds", get it? Ha ha ha? Anyway, the premise didn't appeal to me, and the jokes seemed pretty old-hat, they felt like they'd all been done before. Sorry Mark.

Going Beyond E-Bay: Another recurring character stops by with a humourous movie parody scene. The dialogue between Obi-Wan and Yoda was very nice, just the right blend of meta humor and satirical jabs. Unfortunately, the scene after the clip was shown fell a little flat, IMO. Sorry, Prateek. But you had some good ones this week.

Well, that's all for me as another season comes to a close. I'm glad I could help PAtrick out by sending him a Cold Opener when he needed it, and by providing a review, which have been in short number this season. I will see you all for the summer shows, I've got some sketch ideas that need to be fleshed out for them.

As a final note: Good luck with your future endeavors, Mark Jennings Reese II. God speed.
