I don't want to take up any of your time, I'm still trying to figure out a good scam. I was thinking of featuring the black con artist as the man who originated the "slip and fall" scam as a way to make money. Unfortunately for him, he does it in the 1920s, so running over a black man isn't something a guy will pay up for. That's the gist of it so far, I've gotta get something more substantial out though.
