I got fed up with the younger-skewing direction SNL was heading (Fallon, Sanz, etc) so I more or less quit watching the show around 2002. I found it tough to write sketches featuring actors I had never seen before so that pretty much ended by SNLYou writing career.

I moved on to Survivor, and I've been a columnist and featured writer at Survivor-Central.com for the last four years. Well I WAS a columnist, I just retired this past June so now I'm kind of between shows to write about.

Side-note: My Survivor column was very popular (a lot of the real Survivors read it) so I had a big contest to decide who would take it over after I left. And the winner of the contest was none other than Mark Polishuk, SNL columnist legend and onetime contributor here at SNLYou. So the SNL-Survivor link carries on, as Mark Polishuk will be taking over my Survivor column starting this September.

But as for me, I wrote SNL episode recaps for two years (posted at saturday-night-live.com), I wrote SNLYou sketches here (about 50 total, including two that were purchased by a TV show in New York), I wrote Survivor strategy columns for four years, and I also wrote four full-length Survivor stories (500-1100 pages each). So if you're wondering what I have been doing the past four years, that's a nice synopsis in a nutshell.

And now I'm looking for something new to do.
