Message from the President: These types of skits have predominated the 2003-2004 season, which can be good or bad depending on how they're handled. Tonight's lampooning of our Commander in Chief was performed quite well, again portraying him as a misinformed man who wants to do the right thing, yet lacks the common sense and intellect to do so effectively. Loved the last part where it's revealed what became of Indiana and Idaho, but how come Illinois and Iowa weren't affected?

Monologue: Pretty good commentary from MC Hammer (couldn't he have been played by Finesse instead?) about how SNL is relying too much on non-actors and comedians to take hosting duties. Unfortunately, the humor dies down with the lame Shakespeare read as hip-hop (its been done to death).

Cheerios: God I hate those "I lowered my cholesterol" commercials, it's finally good to see them done up where the schmuck is put down for his inane chatter. Didn't see it being turned into a campaign add, nice twist ending.

Negative Connotations: This is, in my opinion, the best of the show. Having two professional men call each other by pet names, Jorbaloney's refusal to admit that some of his words were two separate words, new uses of the term "blow job", and revelations about Dr. Kastleburger's wife all added up to total inanity and hilarity.

Underdogg: Sorry, it fell short. I was never a fan of the original cartoon when I was younger, and the sketch kind of died when it melded a lame 60s animated show with gangsta rap. Now, maybe if you did a Tennesee Tuxedo parody, J.P., that would have been golden.

Fanfiction Theater: I left feedback for Hillary on the chatboard on where to make improvements, guess she didn't read them. Aside from the little things I pointed out there, this was a pretty good bit.

Dennis Miller Show: commenting on my own, I wonder if it was right to draw my Miller satire from the early 90s Carvey imitation, but I guess I won't know until there are other reviews on the bit. Also, when insulting Kofi Annan, I should have used, "how much is our cut to look the other way?", that sounds better.

News at Noon from the Moon: This was very good, demonstrating the incredible tedium and boredom that a lunar colony would experience. The only flaw I see is the personal comment J.P. makes at the end regarding "Jerks", don't include that in stage direction, it should be dialogue from a character.

Game Show News: Would have been better when acted rather than just typed, but it's doubtful that would have saved it; the dialogue is bland and the jokes are stale.

Road to the White House: Amusing, a gangsta rap parody that actually has legs. The idea of Ralph Nader reduced to campaigning at an open-mic house has a lot of humorous qualities, and as Warren Beatty proved in "Bulworth", politically-charged raps are da bomb, my ni***s (what, I can't say that word? Damn, why was I born a white Irish Catholic? Only slurs I can use are honky and mick.)

That's all from me, see ya when the Satan, I mean Olsen twins host next week. Personal recommendation, no throwback Full House or Two of a Kind bits.
