Hi their fellow SNY writers, its time for another mock show of a mock season, hmm anyhoo it feels like we're playing a game of double pretend. This week we have our host Scarlett Johannson, kind of a middle area for me I had no strong positive or negative feelings on this particular host. Well onto the review.

Cold Opening- Nightline

"They mostly come at night, mostly."

Well I didnt laugh myself into a gutbusting emergency trip state but I did think that this bit was very clever and a nice change of pace from making fun of Bush all the time (like I did last show.) I really liked the pig latin, always a good area for comedy, also a nice segue into the final line, I wouldnt be surprised if Kerry did some promotional with the Oscar Weiner mobile someday.

Scarlett's Monologue

"Game over man, game over"

I will make this short since this is my own sketch. Basically we were short of a monologue and Pat had nothing to go on. If he didnt get a monologue soon then that was it, the end of SNY. So I did some thinking and threw in a little bit about how much Garfield sucks. As for him blowing his own brains out well I am sure I stole that from an old conan show. Seriously I had like 20 minutes to write this sketch. Be kind. Their is slightly better stuff of mine in WU.

Airline Sketch

"All I need to know is where they are"

I really liked the concept to this sketch but I do think that it could have been developed a bit more. The idea is original which is always a plus with me. Their could have been some more jokes thrown at specific races, its a dark sketch but that doesnt mean that the sketch can't be funny. If it was me I would have taken a friend of mine to a salon until he looked terrorist like. Just kidding I wouldnt do that, or would I?

To be continued...
