Bush: The stuff in the hidden wall panels was great after the line "skeletons in the closet." I can imagine this being pretty funny. Lindsay's whole part seemed uneccessary, however.

Voting: The concept is funny, especially considering the issues arising from the implementation of computerized polls. However, when the mob comes out and the sketch ends, it just seems too short.

Chinese Coke: I'm not sure what to say about this one. I can see some people finding it pretty funny, but for me personally it was a little too weird/bathroom-ish.

Peeping Tom: Cute and quirky. The blocking gets confusing in the beginning, because he's at the window but she goes out the door to get him...but that's just a technical thing.

Schick: It seems a lot like the cork soaking sketch on SNL, but still funny. I like the ending.

Detective Sours: The concept of the detective doing a crossword puzzle instead of taking notes is funny. However, I didn't find the repetitive shooting at the end very funny.

Fudge: I don't know about this one. It could be funny, but I thought it was just kinda gross.

Fallen: This was great. I feel like there could be more Jimmy Fallon obsession jokes (there are some pretty frightening fangirls out there) but I really liked this one.

Valedictorian: Absolutely disturbing, but pretty damn funny. Reminds me of words used to describe Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, "Funny and disturbing. Often the audience is laughing because they're so uncomfortable." I love that they call her a slut in the end. It raises certain feminist issues (whether that was your intention or not.) It also satirizes those overachiever "Harvard or bust" type girls.

The Insane Pirate: I thought this was funny, probably in part because as a teenager I can relate to, "My parent is crazy!" I liked the ending. I guess this seemed a bit short with just two defendants. I tend to like the number three-a third one put in the middle would have seemed more complete to me.

Orientation: I like this, but the ending was abrupt. The sketch seemed too short.

House Call: Technical point: a "housecall" doctor is supposed to go to your house, I believe. You refer to history, and that's at least what doctors in the early U.S. used to do, because traveling was difficult enough without being ill at the same time. The skit itself just feels a little hectic and confusing. The "doctor takes advantage of female patient" idea also seems a little used.

Andrew Dice Clay: This sketch isn't very funny. I also don't know if this guy is a prominent public figure...the only reason I know who he is is because I know an SNL cast member quit when she heard he was going to host. And you didn't reference that at all.

Weekend Update joke-by-joke review will be posted separately.
