Megan Mullaly – Adipose Issues (Ken Burmeister)

In reading over this sketch, it was easy to remember why I liked it. While it does have some grammatical errors here and there, the idea and the visuals, much less the execution, are noteworthy. I always tend to enjoy Ken's sense of humor, and here, I think he topped himself. In some ways, this reminds me of the smoking vignette in the Stephen King movie "Cat's Eye", in that there's some sort of aversive stimulus administered for not sticking to your health goals. It was eerily funny then, just as it is in "Adipose Issues."

Drew Barrymore – Oh, Romeo! (CCS)

Much like "VH-1's I Love the 20's", you have another CCS sketch where individuals are being interviewed about some off-the-wall topic, and I think we see that same type of excellence displayed here. I really enjoyed the detailing of how the actors were cast (basically involving sex), and the accident during the show. However, the most impressive aspect is the structure: we go from how the play was created, to the happenings occurring during the performance, to the commentary afterwards. Each part is equally hilarious, and the end result is a perfectly executed sketch with plenty of laughs. Very impressive!

Christina Aguilera – The End of the World as We Know It (Jen)

Jen's sense of humor has no bounds, and here, she uses her tremendous creativity to craft a sketch full of oddity that doesn't fail to make the reader come away laughing. Also, what was similarly excellent was the combination of vagina jokes and the decisions made when moving to a new place. Absolute absurdity ensues, and what you have is an unforgettable moment in the history of SNY.

Colin Firth – More Overlooked Sports Superstars (J.P. Ragan)

Like Jen, but maybe even to a larger extent, JP always wins points for developing creative premises. "More Overlooked Sports Superstars" is certainly no exception. However, the show host character's lines should be mentioned, too; your writing for him was nothing short of superb. As I had said in my initial review, I didn't prefer the ultimate direction this sketch took, but the visuals were quite funny, and I think if this thing was ever put to film, I'd likely have a much different opinion in terms of the ending, along with my like for this bit being significantly enhanced. Another winner from JP!

Ben Affleck – Monologue (Ragan and MJRII)

Another JP bit, with effective collaboration from MJRII, made for one of this year's best monologues. I've always been a "Jay and Silent Bob/Kevin Smith" fan, and I think that you guys did a highly commendable job writing for them. Yeah, SNL wouldn't allow the cusswords, but so what? This is SNY, baby! We can do what we want! What was that, Mr. FCC? Huh? 250,000 dollars? Talk to Pat!

Donald Trump – Employee Evaluation Gone Awry (DRG4)

It was essential that Trump play the role of "boss" in at least one SNY sketch, and here, I think DRG4 capitalizes on this idea in a near-immaculate manner. The fact that Trump's character remains clueless was not easily predicted...I think everyone went into this expecting him to "fire" someone. However, you went the clever route and developed some awesome rationale as to why he refrained from catching on to the employee's discontent. Yeah, the rule of three wasn't followed here, but after a re-read, I don't care. This is still one of the best of the season, by far.

Janet Jackson – Cold Opening (Zac Ross)

With this CO, Zac Ross made himself a candidate for SNY's premier political satirist. I loved how this was written...it reminded me, like, none of any political SNL sketches that have been done about Bush because the humor was very subtle, which was a breath of fresh air, to be honest. Everyone loved Ferrell's over-the-top Bush impressions, but given that SNL doesn't have him around anymore, it would have been nice for them to go a more clever route with Parnell (or whoever), like Ross does here. Excellent work, and I hope to see more of your stuff in the summer!

Lindsey Lohan – Schick Happens (Jim Bevan)

Bevan's sense of humor is hard to get a bead on, and that's probably his best attribute. He varies quite considerably with respect to his angle, and here, he decides to work "blue". On the heels of the "Cork Soakers" sketch, which was priceless, comes "Schick Happens", which was nearly as satisfying. Every joke using the "Schick" name appears carefully crafted, but they are all rattled off with facility by the characters, as if taking place within the context of normal dialogue. Great work!

Snoop Dogg – Cold Opening (Aaron Brown)

Ok, now we have yet another political satirist flaunting his chops in the coveted CO spot. Aaron Brown does just as excellent a job as Zac Ross did a couple shows back, using clever humor in place of the more obvious Ferrell- and Forte-style jokes about the President's lackluster intelligence. Even though this is less subdued than Ross's piece, it's just as enjoyable, making for one of the top-notch political cold opens of the season. Hope to see more of you, also.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson - Monologue (Patrick Lonergan)

I really wanted to contribute to this show, given that I had a ton of ideas for Mary-Kate and Ashley. However, I just didn't have the time to write them up, and I didn't feel it was right to just insert them into one of my older pieces. Nevertheless, I looked to the writers of SNY to milk the twins thing, and I felt Pat did the best job of this in his monologue. I loved the idea of them turning against each other...in essence, tussling for the other's fame, since they both share their prominence in inseparable, equal parts...and Pat displayed this magnificently. Just the visual of one of the beauties being tied up behind some plants on-stage is enough to make this a classic, much less what happens as the sketch rolls along. Way to go!

Well, that's it for another season of SNY! I sure hope that people stick around for the summer episodes.
