OOh no! The last time we went seriously wrong when going somewhere (we just didn't see the turnoff) we did a 40 mile detour through the most glorious countryside, past Conwy Castle, found a lovely little bay looking out at the Great Orme where we had an icecream, drove through Snowdonia, stopped off at Bettwsy Coed for a coffee and bun, arrived at Bodnant at lunch time, had a few hours walking around the garden, and then took the road back via the way we should have gone, and had the most stupendous day, which we wouldn't have had if we had had a satnav. I'm all for getting lost on occasions, it can take you to some fascinating places.
