Well what a spectacular day it was. I really enjoyed watching all the ceremonial stuff they had going on. The bride looked beautiful and Wills and Harry showed absolutely no sign of nerves at all. I think Diana would have been proud of her two boys.
I think it was also a great day to take the piss out of some of the guests. What the hell were the Beckhams doing there? Also guests were advised of what colours not to wear and black was one of them so Posh in all her glory shows up looking like Morticia. Oh and of course the arm around the shoulder of her beloved just in case anyone tried to steal him away in 'The Abbey".
Elton John appeared to be singing something other than the rest of the congregation. Perhaps he knew the hymns in Latin. Eugenie and Beatrice had God knows what on there heads. One of them looked like her eyes were about to pop out. Earl Spencer and his yummy mummy looked... hot. Kate's mother looked like the cat that got the canary and rightly so. She also has an exceptional figure for her age. What a catch for her eldest daughter. I'm sure her father would have been a bundle of nerves though.
Julie Gillard surprisingly looked lovely in her all Australian outfit so I have posted the cartoon in today's Herald Sun. It's so like her I just had to share. All in all I believe it's just what Britain needed and I'm sure many people spent the day as we did having a few champagnes which made the whole afternoon and evening well worthwhile.
I hope Kate and Wills have a long and happy life together.
