(He had had a feeling that this sort of thing would happen, though he hadn't thought it would actually be the case.. all his joking about Remy's freakishly large child was now sort of coming back to haunt him as he watched one of his best friend's straining so hard to bring this baby into the world.. there was so much blood and whatnot going on down below that he was getting really nervous.. though apparently that sort of thing was normal.) (He wanted her to do this as she wanted to, but he also knew what it was like to want something so desperately that no amount of pain would make you see clearly and he was not about to endure that with her.) Shay, baby, I think the doctor is right.. you dont have to endure this pain.. a c-section will get this over with and the baby will be here.. (He murmured to her, smoothing her hair back and then holding her as the next contraction hit and she was screaming again.. he hated knowing that he had done this to her.. he had gotten her pregnant with a child that took after him.. and now she was suffering for it.) Baby, I know you can do it, I just don't want you to do it. (He was almost begging her.. he knew a bit about medical stuff and knew that they would have to cut her down there to make this happen.. and he didnt think he was prepared for that to happen.) Please.. I can't take you hurting anymore.. (He finally was begging, just holding her as the contraction passed, his face against her neck as she rested back against the pillows.)
