They waited a moment, sitting there on stage. They stood slowly, bowing as a pair. James stood with a stupid grin on his face, he set his guitar down and bounced down the stairs. He stopped to shake a few hands, pass a few thank you's for complements given. But as soon as he could escape, he made a beeline for the pair in the booth. Without so much as a howyado, he slid in beside Lessa, smirking from ear to ear as he forced her to scoot over. "I was starting to worry you wouldn't show up... That was our last song" He had hoped they would have at least made it for Whiskey Lullaby, as well as Picture... But he couldn't have everything now could he? "Where's Jess? I swear she was right behind me..."

Though she had held up well enough during their performance, that final bow had done her in. She had risen from the motion with a pained expression on her face, and while her brother had frolicked off one side of the stage, she had slipped quietly off the other. She needed some vicodin and some quiet time. She moved stiffly to the back room, avoiding people by luck more than ability to avoid them. She sank slowly to the floor once she was safely inside the room, she pealed her shirt up, checking the amount of blood soaking the bandage. For the moment, it was an exceptable amount... But she realy needed to get home and sleep... That always helped her heal

i move on like a sinners prayer
i let 'em go like a levee breaks
walk away as if i don't care
learn to shoulder my mistakes
getting reckless when there's no need
break my heart but it won't bleed
i'm better as a memory than as your man
